Som styreleder i BKFH har Morild jobbet med problemstillinger omkring kunsternes arbeidsvilkår i byen, ateliersituasjonen i Bergen og har fokusert på hvordan kunstnere kan jobbe sammen med næringslivet for å finne gode løsninger.
Marianne Morild er utdannet fra Central St. Martin’s College of Art, og Chelsea College of Art i London. Hun bor og arbeider i Bergen. Verkene hennes har vært utstilt ved bl.a Sogn og Fjordane Kunstmuseum (2023), Kunsthall 3,14 (Bergen, 2021), Centre Pompidou-Metz (Frankrike, 2021) og Taipei Biennale (Taiwan, 2020).

Marianne Morild is a visual artist and is currently a university lecturer in painting at the Faculty of Art, Music and Design, and chairperson of the Visual Arts Association Hordaland (BKFH).
As chairman of BKFH, Morild has worked with issues surrounding artists' working conditions in the city, the studio situation in Bergen and has focused on how artists can work together with business to find good solutions.
Marianne Morild is educated at Central St. Martin's College of Art, and Chelsea College of Art in London. She lives and works in Bergen.
